Main part of the biological treatment plants.

Consisted of motor-reducer, main body, shaft and impeller. Aerators are designed as to ensure the highest oxygen transfer rate and continous operation conditions.


To provide both aeration and complete mixing, aerators are designed in upflow basis that rely on violent agitation of the surface and air entrainment for the efficiency. The impeller is used to disperse the air bubbles and mix the wastewater.

Depending on the basin geometry, the surface aerators are commonly fabricated as floating, mounted or simplex cone type.Although the main body, shaft and impeller are being generally fabricated in epoxy coated, immerged units may be produced in stainless steel.
